Part two of the series takes us further along the path and continues the introduction which leads to understanding the basic principles of applied Vipassanā Practice. The talk sums up various aspects of the Practice, by looking at ten noticeable benefits which can be gained through Vipassanā.

Ten Benefits of Vipassana Practice

Vipassanā is a personal inner journey of introspection and insight development, whose experiences differ from person to person. It is Hence a very difficult thing to share one’s experiences, or to inquire about them with another person.

Emptiness 

Each person tends to experience Vipassanā  in their own individual manner. This makes it very difficult to explain your experience to your teacher. Luckily there are some basic elements which are present in all of the experiences which can occur in Vipassanā, and a good teacher will be able to recognize those elements in order to identify the nature of the experience is student is having.  It is very important to receive guidance along the path because there are many pitfalls which can lead the practitioner astray before he reaches their goal. There are also many detours which are not essentially pitfalls, but which are just going to make the practitioner spend more time in arriving at his destination.

Enlightenment

This series of talks hopes to continue and attempt to cover all of the major pitfalls and detours, which the practitioner may encounter along the way.
