Ethos, Pathos, Logos.

Ethos, pathos and logos. The Platonic methods, of applying the techniques of attaining one goals and convincing others of one’s point of view, as explained by the ancient Greek philosophers of those times, to use, as a method of obtaining one’s egoistic goals. I personally believe that the first of these three necessary elements to achieve logos namely, ethos requires true hearted intention, because the only true and adequate informed qualified background and experience of the speaker will leave him invincible and unassailable from other clever persons with other points of view, which could destroy the logic of the speaker.

Pythagoras

If you examine the imagery which is within the painting of Pythagoras above, you may find allegorical references to many of the great inner mysteries.

Others will not listen to truth, even if it is true indeed. Unless, the speaker has a viable trajectory our background which underlines and confirms his authority on what he is speaking about. Part of what makes people ready to believe what one is saying, is not the truth or how logical it sounds. It is whether they believe that the person speaking knows what he’s talking about or not. This is the meaning of ethos, and ethos, is something one must master and possess, in order to possess the powers to convince others.

True power of will and incantation lies in these three applied methods of ethics truth and contundent explanation of the truth

Ethos, therefore, is mainly the act of having attained a certain history and trajectory in one is chosen subject in order for people to be conditioned enough to believe the true words you may reveal.  Ethos means a believable source or authority, on what the person is speaking about. Pathos is the path, you undertake to successfully convince others of your view.

Logos, is the truth or logic within the words you wield. If all three of these facets of convincing others are affected and completed successfully, then the choice of the listener, all the views and beliefs of the listener, do not come into the matter any more. The listener is convinced by your unshakeable truth explained clearly and without allowing any room for doubt or dissension.

Rhetoric using the Greek system of ethos pathos and logos

Most people in the modern age have heard of the word rhetoric, but few of them know that it was developed and applied first in human civilisation as far as history has documented at least, by the ancient Greeks.

May have already realise, that the words Ethos, pathology, as well as the word path, and logic all stem from the ethos pathos logos principle methods of convincing others, and projecting influence upon the minds of men. Is one of the first principles of government and even of worldly activities on a low level such as advertising.
